My partner and I enjoyed sitting on our private balcony, where we took in the views of the lake. The place had a cozy feel, and we liked that it was easy to reach local activities. We even found great restaurants nearby. It was nice that we could get some food to cook in our room, making our stay more comfortable. Visiting during the fall gave us a chance to see the foliage, which was beautiful.
The photos made it seem like the lake was right outside. While it was only a short walk down the hill, it would have been nice to be closer to the water. Also, there was no breakfast provided.

Stunning views from our balcony! Friendly staff enabled us to enjoy water activities freely. The location's seclusion enhanced our experience immensely.

the purported "lake view" from my room was misleading, as the lake is actually down a hill, behind another building—what a surprise! Also, the spiders in the corner of the room were absolutely charming, I suppose! I mean, a little appreciation would have gone a long way. one might think room upgrades are standard upon request, but clearly, they’re not.

Ideal for a lakeside escape
Sitting on the balcony, the view of the lake was nice, just 20 feet away. Spent hours just gazing at the sunrise, it was a moment of peace I really needed.
It wasn't exactly inexpensive, but for what you get, it’s still reasonable.

Had an amazing time with stunning sun on the private balcony and enjoyed relaxing by the small beach area at night, counting stars. The place even has a grill available, perfect for a cookout! Just a heads up that the room setup was a bit rustic, but that didn’t stop us from loving our stay. 🌟

We had a wonderful time enjoying the water activities right outside our door, especially paddle boarding and fishing. The stunning view of the lake from our room made it a perfect spot for family moments. The three grandkids loved the beach area too, where they could play and collect shells.
My kids wished for more kid-friendly dining options.

Our stay with friends was amazing! The waterfront building was so close to the lake, making it perfect for paddle boarding and fishing. We also enjoyed a fun day exploring Gunstock, with breathtaking views. Tony and the family staff were super friendly and always around to help make our experience enjoyable!
One downside was that parking was a bit tight during our stay, which made it challenging at times, especially with our group of nine.

The waterfront room we switched to had an incredible view.
We had issues with the shower's temperature control. It was very frustrating trying to adjust the shower head, which barely produced a decent stream. Additionally, we faced a major inconvenience with transportation as taxis and rideshares were virtually non-existent.
